The Relic

This movie is really bad. I saw it on a double bill with another movie and it still wasn't worth the admission price. There are so many plot holes in this while they are trying to set up the gore, that it is ridiculous. And then the movie becomes ridiculous. It switches midstream from being a movie about a monster that gets it's kicks from decapitating people (Yes, there are tons of "ripped-off head shots") and eating the victim's hypothalmus glands (huh?); to a re-inactment of the "Posideon Adventure" on dry land (don't ask). This wouldn't even make a good rental unless you and your friends are really good at making fun of movies in the way you do with "Rocky Horror Picture Show". However, I seriously do not see that kind of afterlife for this movie. When you see it in the rental store, just say no.
